It's a curse. I mean it's a nice curse and if I forget myself and sing it out loud it's even a funny curse (at least for other people), but it's still a curse.
So, this is my first official wear of the best boots ever. I bought these at the start of winter here since I knew my old ones wouldn't make it through the winter. Sure enough, just last weekend the zipper fully detatched on one of my old boots, so I had to break out the new ones. I'd been wanting to take these in to a cobbler to be protected and all that, but those places are only open when I'm at work. The result is a quick coating of protective spray. Maybe later this winter I'll be able to get them professionally cleaned and sealed. Ah well. Good enough for now.
